XF 2.2 Unicode Titles

After converting our tables to allow Unicode for emoji support, some users are now posting Unicode formatted titles in the forums.

Is there a way to prevent Unicode from being used in thread titles?

No not built into the software but we would recommend adjusting your rules to make it clear what is appropriate and not and fix with active moderation if necessary.

As has happened in this case; I simply edited the title to be more appropriate. In our experience it doesn’t become a significant issue.
