XF 1.5 Two Step Verification?

Hey guys I just received this from a member and not sure where to address it?

I noticed that the email-code for two-step verification (Profile → Two-Step Verification) is only valid for 15 minutes.

The problem: The mail took 30 minutes until I got it

The code validity should therefore better be set to 1 hour - just as a support.

It wouldn't be wise or safe to set the code validity more than 15 minutes.

The real solution is to solve why the email took 30 minutes from your board to get to the user's inbox.

If it's an isolated situation, it's probably safe to ignore. If it carries on, you may need to get in contact with your host/email provider to see if they can help you debug that delay. The user may also find it could be worth contacting their email provider in case the problem is on their end. Generally emails should be delivered (nearly) instantly.

OK, I have the same issue, and I'm using GMail. No email notification after 15 min. I'm testing this because a member is facing the same issue. Unable to reset for 36 hours. What am I missing?

If emails aren't being delivered, you would generally need to check with your email provider. There should generally be logs that track the outgoing email (and what the target SMTP server said).
