Trying to upgrade my PHP from 7.0 to 7.1 7.3

And everything stops working..

Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Disable all the addons via the config.php

$config['enableListeners'] = false;

Re try the upgrade.

Check your Apache/nginx configs.

When I upgraded from 7.1 to 7.3 I had to edit the config file.
Should look something like this:

location ~* \.php$ {
    fastcgi_pass unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock;
...
  }
}

You get my point I think.

If that's not the problem, check your webserver logfiles

Thanks everyone finally fixed it. Had to contact support at knownhost and they fixed it..
