Translate SEO URL portion

Hello,

For example, in the URL " http://xenforo.com/community/threads/pre-sales-faq.4951/", can the word "threads" be translated ? Not a difference translation for each language (not usefull for SEO) but globally. For example, if the forum has not english as main language, can we change "threads" to anything else ?

Thanks.

Thanks for your response.

Can you implement this functionnality in the core product (or put URL portion in phrases) ? It is very usefull for non-engligh forums...

I suppose it could be changed into a variable, but I'm not sure how feasible that is.

I'll let Kier or Mike answer that.

I was thinking about this as well. Would be great to be able to change this to my local language....

Not only that but some optional URL formats in the ACP would be nice (or otherwise an add-on).

I would like that option too. Replacements could be used to make SEO more friendly

This should be moved to the Suggestions section, and yes, it would be great to be able to translate that part of the url.

I can see myself using it as follows
http://-----.com/stories/this-is-a-story/
or
http://----.com/topic/a-new-topic/ etc. :)
