Touch targets of checkboxes on "watched threads" page are too small

The touch targets of the checkboxes on the page Watched threads have a size of 12x16 pixels. One of our users says that they are too easy to miss, especially if you want to select many of them in rapid succession (https://www.computerbase.de/forum/threads/checkboxen-zu-klein-bei-den-abonnements.1891258/). Furthermore, if you navigate back after a miss-tap then all previously selected checkboxes are reset to their unselected state.



The "48x48 pixel area" recommended by Google (https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/accessibility/accessible-styles) may be hard to achieve in this case but maybe the size of those touch target could be increased somewhat?

I tried tapping on mobile and it just opens the thread instead of clicking the checkbox every time.
