Tooltip Improvements

I think some improvements to tooltips in XF could be extremely useful in certain circumstances. Currently the Tooltips in XF are not mobile (touch) compatible so certain things take a little extra work to get the same effect on both mouse and touch events, one instance would be showing an icon with no text description. Using the Tooltip class is fine for mouse hover but it does not currently support touch event so you can see a description.

Below is an extension to jQuery, numerous uses including HTML, iframe, Imagemap and SVG support.

I use a lot of tooltips in my own customizations and I miss them in mobile devices.
This is a good suggestion.

5 years have passed. Are there any XF Tooltips solutions for the mobile?
