I don't know if it's right for XenForo, but I must say that I have been using Cloudflare as both a nameserver service, and for their cloud services, and it has been working much better than it has in the past for me, where we would get multiple "site is offline" errors per day, when our sites were perfectly fine. It does throw me off when I make changes and forget to disable it temporarily, but just for the protections alone, it is worth having IMHO.
