Hello,

After google searching, I am spent. I have hosting with BlueHost. They had an outage for a few days. Now my users can not login. "Oops! We ran into some problems."

I am running XF 2.2.8. PHP 8.1.27.

The only error on my dashboard is: "The Board URL option does not match the site URL configured for your license"

I have no idea what this is, and could this be after an outage?

Any help? Thank you.

The Board URL option does not match the site URL configured for your license

I meant, I have clicked this link. I do not see any changes. I did notice that they switched from http to https. I have changed this in my Board URL...

still same issue.. I am pretty lost. help... lol

The board URL in the ACP and in your XF customer account has no bearing on this issue.

From a desktop computer, press F12 and select the Console tab to see what the cause of the error is.

Every page response is returning a 404 which is weird, and is what is causing the issue.

When BlueHost went down for about 5 days it was a 404 error. They have no info or care to help because it is not wordpress. As soon as I can fix this, I will move it from BlueHost. They get a F.

on another note, I have one of my users that was logged in. I can move around, but posting, etc gives me the same "oops" error.

and thank you for the board URL answer. Good. :)

still at a loss..

Going directly to https://community.vintagecannondale.com/login works which is how they'd be able to log in, or they just had a remember me cookie. Clicking the link in the header does a network request to load the modal and as that is returning a 404, the javascript thinks there's an issue so shows the Oops error.

You may as well move it now tbh, the fact it's not WordPress hasn't got anything to do with it as the server is responding with an incorrect status code, it's nothing to do with the application.

ok so what all have you tried to fix it so far? And have you pressed f12 yet in chrome?
Yes, I have with F12. I can not see anything. This site was build by somebody on this forum who is awesome. I am not the best admin. This who site is moving to a new owner next month on the 1st. Which is kinda funny. for trouble shooting. After no help from BlueHost, and with googles help. My 1st thought was PHP version conflict. I had them downgrade from 8.2 to 8.1, because 8.2 was updated the 1st week of feb. I have logged into the board URL page, and changed the http to https. BlueHost has no idea when this change was made.

That is as far as I have gone. I am here now for help from the community.

I still feel the 404 is an issue. BlueHost will not tell me what the issue was, they stated its not a server issue but outside. Which could mean IP/404 or anything.. very vague...

The move will be in March. But I would like to fix this ASAP. My users are pretty small. I do not want to loose anybody.

....and I can not recommend BlueHost to anybody. :)

And to add. The site was good. BlueHost was down, when it came back. The site now has this issue. They are no help. They keep telling me its my bad software or my custom code that I made. They stated they had a DNS issue. But unknown what it was.

I can poke around and make changes in Xenforo. I just have no idea what to troubleshoot.
