Dinh Thanh submitted a new resource:

[Tinhte] More XenForo Permissions (version 1.0) - Allow/Disallow specific user-group access Who's Online & Member List pages

This addon allow you enable/disable specific user-group access Who's Online & Member List pages.

Why Disallow guests or a specific user-group access these pages:
  • Protect your forum members from Spammer & Spam-Bot.
  • Protect your forum members from brute force attack.
  • Protect your site from DDOS (these pages are very server intensive).
INSTALLATION
Install then go to User-group perrmission to enable any user-group that you want to allow them access each page.

My question was....

Can this also hide the member tab and the member breadcrumb (from view)?

I'm away from my computer so I can't test this out right now. Figured I'd ask you. :)


edit: never mind. I think you did answer me.... I'm just not thinking today. So this wouldn't hide anything because it doesn't do any template edits via TMS or otherwise... Thus nothing would be hidden, this only does permission setting.

Would it be possible to extend the features a bit, so that it would be possible to hide all the Tabs in the Navbar in order to run a "Private Community" (Navbar-Tabs not visible by Guests) ?
Currently I had to make a few code-edits at XF-Core-files in order to achieve this:

An additional great feature would be to also include the "Privacy for the Membercard" into this Addon.
