XF 2.1 Threads open too low - the thread title is not shown

When I open a thread (or link to it) it looks like this:
204671

The thread title is not shown, so a reader has to scroll up to see it, as indicated by the vertical scroll bar.

What I want is this:
204672

Much of the humor in my posts will be in the thread title. How can I change the behavior of the program so it opens a thread with all the header stuff showing? Or, at the least, with the thread title showing?

This would be good too:

My normal browser is Chrome, and it knows that I am the Admin. To test it, I tried it on Firefox and Explorer where those browsers don't know who I am at my website, and it still opens too low. What browser are you using?

Thank you for trying to help me!

Same behavior in incognito mode and with (2) add-ons disabled. The only edits I've made to the templates is to add the Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel code to the PAGE_CONTAINER template, and some CSS for a specific page in the EXTRA_LESS template.

Ok this is weird. If you click on the section and then the thread, you'll see it correctly. But if you just click on the thread on the right, you don't see the thread title.

So click ultra mod and then click on the thread in there and it will display correctly. But if you just click on introductory to ultra mod on the right you have to scroll up to see thread title. Try it yourself.

If that is the case, then that is standard behavior.

I'm trying it from several vectors - but the one that is the most disappointing is a link to the thread in an email or other link. Those links open the thread too low.

That is because it is a link to a post in the thread, that is standard behavior. If there was more posts on the thread it would do the same thing, go to the post in the thread.

Thread link:

Okay, I see the difference. So for email links and such, I need to remove the last part of the link that goes to the post.

Thanks!

ETA: That makes sharing on Twitter and Facebook a bit more finnicky, but I'll work with it.
