Duplicate Thread to RM entry importer

I have 11.000 forum threads that I would like to import into the RM. Currently I use GARS in vb. It would be nice to have an importer to do this.

Optimally the first post would be converted to the resource, while subsequent posts would be converted to the discussion.

This has been suggested before and rejected due to various reasons, mainly that it would be extremely difficult to create a generic importer which could handle every single case.

I use GARS too. I wonder if some custom SQL could do the trick? The articles are just forum threads.
