Add-on Thread Sort Order -Paid Request

Unfortunately it's chronologically descending sorting of posts in the threads (but not the thread list itself) that I'm after. Prefereably so that it would be user-selectable in the settings, but even admin-only setting would do (in case of my board, I would set it to chronologically descending sort for all threads).

I might take a stab at this plugin; I haven't developed anything for xenForo previously, but there seem to be good resources around.

Could someone familiar with xenForo development give me a quick outline, a rough structure, of this kind of plugin (i.e. pointers for me to start looking into). Or, if there is some other plugin in existence that touches similar areas of the system, please let me know as I'd like to read through its code to get the idea of the structure.
