XF 1.5 Thread preview tooltip not working for some members - how to troubleshoot?

A couple of CycleChat members have told me that their thread preview mouse-hover tooltip has stopped working. It works for me in FF, Chrome, Edge, etc.

Any tips for troubleshooting?

Already cleared browser caches and it didn't help. I suppose I should maybe clear the CF cache in case it's hanging on to any template/code differences. Might upgrade XF this evening and clear CF cache afterwards to see if it helps!

Windows users with different browsers. I'll see if it continues after upgrading and CF cache clearning and come back to you.

They will almost certainly be using touchscreen devices. The "hover" event isn't picked up by Xenforo 1.x for these
