Paul B XenForo moderator Staff member Nov 23, 2011 #2 As far as I am aware, it only does that when adding a prefix where previously there wasn't one. If you change a prefix, then the name of the old prefix is displayed. In which case, the - is being used to denote no prefix.

But wouldn't it be better to have "Thread prefix edited from '-' tot 'Solved'" instead?
