XF 2.0 Thread Poll widget creation does not recognise URL

Getting the error:

Oops! We ran into some problems.
No thread ID could be found from that URL.

The URL is straight from the browser in the proper format:

World Cup 2019 Day 2 Pakistan v West Indies @Trent Bridge

Match begins 1900hrs Central.

www.bigfooty.com

If I enter the thread ID by itself, of course I am told this isn't a URL.

It's not clear which link you were clicking to add a poll.

The thread has a poll now so presumably you were able to add it?

I'm not sure what isn't clear?

Admin CP -> Appearance -> Widgets -> Add Widget -> Widget Definition: Thread Poll -> Give it a key, a title, select "Forum View: Side bar", and then paste in the Content URL included above:

Upon clicking "Save", this error returns:

No thread ID could be found from that URL.

"That URL" does have a forum ID.
