XF 1.5 Thread Display Options questions

I have a user asking about the following:

I set it for Thread Creation Time, and Descending Order. Then I click to the right for Set Option.

The board will always display that settings are saved.

However, when I log out, and log back in at some point. I have to reset this feature EVERY TIME, for EACH FORUM.

Are these thread display options supposed to be remembered per user, or is it something that is always going to go back to default settings?

Just want to make sure I give him the right answer.

The setting is not supposed to be remembered.

The default sort option can be set globally by the admin in the Forum's options.

They could bookmark the configuration they like, though the specific URL may not be obvious.

To sort this forum by thread creation and descending order the URL is:
https://xenforo.com/community/forum...nd-support.25/?order=post_date&direction=desc

That would save some clicking every time they view that forum, though.
