XF 2.0 Theme header style help

Hi community friends!
I recently got a theme called Edge from pixelexit and I'm trying to get the header styled differently.
This is the test site I have now:
xen.iwebnow.net

I'm trying to get the header to match my wordpress theme here:
fe.iwebnow.net

Normally I don't have any issues with this, but because the navigation and logo are wrapped in the same <ul> tag, it's a bit more challenging. Just wanted to get some info from some of the more experienced template themers than myself.
