The LOL thread

For non-followers of UK news/football this is a picture of Ryan Giggs who took out a super injunction to prevent the media from reporting that he couldn't keep it in his pants and had been playing away with a model behind his wife's back, but was named in Parliament yesterday.

The advertising poster is brilliant! :D

Watch out, you'll get sued!

Too late, he was named in Parliament, and then reported by every news source thereafter, as is their right - nothing can stop the media reporting what is said in Parliament, not even a 'super injunction'!

The daft thing is even after he was named in Parliament and it was being reported on the Sky, BBC & other TV news channels, every radio station and every newspaper website yesterday afternoon and The Sun newspaper made their second appeal of the day to have the 'super injunction' over turned - the dozy judge refused! :D

So, the 'super injunction' gagging the media, that cost Giigs £200,000 in legal fees  , is still in force, not that you would notice from some of the newspaper front pages today:

The conflict between the High Court on one hand and on the other hand - the internet (particularly Twitter & Wikipedia), backed yesterday by an MP in Parliament followed by every media outlet, is a massive LOL at the moment. :D
