These errors usually occur when a file hasn't been uploaded correctly. If they don't appear constantly and only occur when you are installing or upgrading add-ons, it is nothing to worry about. As far as I can tell, the problem is usually if you are uploading with FTP on a "slow" connection, because there is a lag between when the server receives the start of the file and when it receives the end of the file. The best way to overcome this is to use the zip uploader in this add-on or to upload your files to a different location on your server first and then copy and paste them. Also, if there are no changes to a file, better to select the option not to overwrite it.

I'm unable to replicate this issue.

That this issue still occurs when this add-on is disabled is concerning and suggests that it has nothing to do with this add-on. Based on the other issues you have sent me, which also appear to have nothing to do with the add-ons, it seems that there is some issue with PHP on your server -- probably one of the caches you have set up.

well i will tell you how it goes. because atm my server is some what unstable... i keep getting internal server errors in the admin panel when i try to rebuild caches update an add one and it always crashes in the middle of rebuilding templates

I installed this and then used it to install a number of add-ons. I now seem to be stuck with the following message in my ACP and I can't re-enable my forum.

Screen Shot 2014-02-08 at 22.28.40.webp
I keep clicking it and it runs the script, but the notice never goes away and I've got no outdated add-ons listed.

How can I re-enable my forum?

Edit: Got round this by disabling both this plugin and your 'Last Post Avatar' plugin. Enabling either causes the notice to appear.

@Waindigo I have Allow upgrade to unsupported XenForo versions checked. Yet when i click on 'upgrade xenforo' i receive 'There are no updated versions available for this license.'.

I am running 1.2.4 and trying to upgrade to Beta 2 for 1.3.

Has anyone else been able to upgrade to the 1.3 Beta using this addon?

I have managed to do it. Have you checked that the license you have selected is still active (I.e. not expired). If you need to change to a different license, delete the license key in the options and start again.

If the notice doesn't disappear you should manually upgrade the Waindigo add-ons you have just uploaded.

If it still doesn't disappear, you can delete the Waindigo XML files in the install/data folder of your installation.

Hi @Waindigo
i had moved my forum to new hosting company and new server.
Nor works ok, but i have this problem with this addon:

Code:

Why?
Thanks

Hi @Waindigo
Code:
Server Error

This filter needs the zip extension

Why?

The detail that I left in the quote explains "Why". Your host does not have the ZIP extension installed for compression/uncompression. Simply ask them to install it. If they don't "know" what you are referring to it's time to look for a new hosting provider. ;)

Or if they can't install it, then you can still use some of the other features of this add-on (i.e., the ability to install from multiple XML files at once), but you will have to upload files manually.

Thanks, now it's ok, Zip installed by provider! :)

I have some outdated addons that I have installed with Install and Upgrade. And none of them appear in the outdated list.
Same here! I have lots of outdated add-ons, but none show up in the Outdated list.

I just installed this add-on, having previously used Chris Deeming's "add-on install and upgrade" add-on, which at least makes an effort to list outdated add-ons, although it doesn't seem to work entirely correctly.
