Talk7080 has just opened its doors (1st March 2024) and is about looking back and remembering the good time of the 1970s and 1980s. For Baby Boomers, this is a chance to share your thoughts and memories of those times as you grew up in, perhaps, the most interesting decades of the 20th Century.
Right now, it's a basic forum with a small number of sections to relate your memories. It's colourful with a dark theme (thanks to @Pixel Exit) with some great add-ons from @Ozzy47 to spice things up a little. There are a number of cosmetic changes implemented through some template changes and CSS to add some flavour into the mix.
I've added around 130 or so posts to kick things off, but it's really going to be down to others who may be interested in sharing their memories. It's all about the good times, we know what the bad times were so there's no need to go over them - it's meant to be an uplifting remembrance of all that was good; hopefully the site will capture the essence of those memories.
Best to go have a look as screenshots would be pretty boring (but there is one below lol). Enjoy and feedback would be welcomed; it's the only way to improve things.
