Closed Profile posts gone from Postings tab after 2.3.7 -> 2.3.8 (or .9) upgrade

On 2.3.7, the Postings tab showed both forum posts and profile posts. After upgrading to 2.3.8, only forum posts are shown. Same thing on 2.3.9. I created a test installation, rolled back all of my custom template changes, disabled every add-on, and rebuilt the search index. Profile posts are still not shown. But, or intentional change?

I will leave the report open in case we want to reconsider what is a valid "post" in terms of recent content.

The objective was to remove DMs from there. Only visible to yourself, but obviously alarming in case you thought they were visible to everyone. But I can see the argument that "profile posts" are "posts" but then you could make a similar argument for "profile post comments" and "resources" and many other things.

I'm leaning towards Postings only being for actual posts but counter arguments are welcome.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Since 2.3.8 the Postings tab on a profile intentionally lists only forum posts, as staff explained above. To see all of a member's content, including profile posts, use the 'Find all content' option on their profile.
