Dav, you could try reinstalling the master data if you suspect some files are corrupted, etc.

Just browse to yourdomain/install and there will be an option to rebuild.

If your using a good reliable FTP program like LeapFTP or CoreFTP or similar it should give you an option to choose the upload methods.

Normally they are Auto , Ascii or Binary...

Try uploading in Binary mode , that should cure the problem...

If not try downloading the whole package again and try uploading the new XML file , as it maybe faulty..

Regards...

Hi,

OK.. Some servers do NOT allow an XML upload via FTP or Http..

If you have an CPanel / WHM hosting account try uploading the XML file with the File Manager inside the CPanel Control area..

Failing that , I would get intouch with your hosting provider and ask for XML files to be allowed to upload , doing an upload via the CPanel File Manager bypasses the block on XML file uploads...

If you do have to contact your hosting provider ask them if they have Suhosin Security Installed on their servers , if so I suggest you find another host as Suhosin although excellent at security it has a habit of being very restrictive of what it actually allows , even stuff you want allowed to run.

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for the help i will get in touch with my host

How do we change the "Members Online" page to reflect that they are on the "Shoutbox" page? Right now it was showing as the member being on an "unknown page".

I have double checked/triple checked that my admin user (me) is in the administrators group, and that group (and my 2nd group "staff") has allow permissions to view shouts, post shouts, edit/delete own shouts, and edit/deleted all shouts. I am runing 0.1.4 and dont see the dropdown arrow to edit. I even went into options and set Always show message tools dropdown.

Thanks in advance!

Koz

This happened to me too. I was in the admin usergroup and checked all the permissions, couldn't find the problem.

If you haven't done this, it'll fix it. I went to the userlist (not usergroups) in the acp, found me, and sure enough, Registered member was my primary usergroup and Administrators was my secondary usergroup. I had to put me in Administrators as primary usergroup. Everything worked fine after that.
