Tags not alerting

Just upgraded to 1.2.1 and tags are not alerting when your tagged now.

Nope it's checked off in alert preferences, no test accounts receive the alert either.

Can you try to disable all mods to rule out a third party mod being the cause of it?

If it's "checked off" then that's why you won't get an alert.

The setting needs to be checked to receive the alert:



EDIT: Though I suspect that's maybe how you have it, but my tiny flu-ridden mind got confused by the word "off"

Yeap did that, all alerts are working accept tagging

Nope nothing in the logs.. Yes, in the post you see the @User-name-here and clicking it opens the member card, just not receiving alerts

You're sure that the permission is correct? Can you use "analyze permissions" to show the value (and the expanded view) of "Maximum tag alerts per message" for the user submitting the message?

It appears that the setting "Maximum tag alerts per message" defaults to zero in a new install, so most people will probably want to change it.

No, they default to 5 on a new install. They gain the value of 0 after an import (due to no equivalent in whatever system is being imported).

This "tagging not working" keeps coming up.
It should default to 5 regardless of import or new install.
