Super Admin... No rights to Moderate threads

Hello,

One of my clients is having an urgent and recent problem, he no longer has any Moderator tools, but does have ACP access.

This just started happening today.

I have "upped" his account to Super admin via config file, and same problem (I logged in has him myself to check this)

Please help!

Kim

Moderating is not an Administrator function.

You need to make the user a Moderator and apply the permissions.

Note: A XenForo administrator has privileges to access systems within the ACP, and is not necessarily a moderator. If you need a user to be able to perform privileged duties in the ACP and the public-facing side of the application, you will need to set up that user as a moderator as well.

Actually he was a moderator.. but permissions had not been set to allow for the Admin group to allow those moderator functions..

AS I was using the #1 Super Admin account I didn't realise as I still had full permissions regardless.

Thanks for your help though :)

No worries.

XenForo does things a little differently with regards to Admins, Mods and permissions so this is something that crops up from time to time :)
