No, it shouldn't, because then you have to manually return to wherever you left off.the title should take you to the first post.....
Unlike you, I find this an evolution in logic. I don't want to re-read a thread when I go check for new content. So jumping to where I left off, great!Hey, why is it I have to go to un-read post when I click a thread, this is VERY VERY annoying. When I click a thread, I expect it to take me to the very first post....Not the last!!
I have to agree with Floris I love this featureUnlike you, I find this an evolution in logic. I don't want to re-read a thread when I go check for new content. So jumping to where I left off, great!
Click the date to go to the first post. Click the title to go to the first unread post.any chance to select one of which ?
- go to first post of this thread
- go to first unread post of this thread
Click the date to go to the first post. Click the title to go to the first unread post.
If you'd explore and try clicking different things, you'd know too. Plus I just told you. So now there's three of us.yeah, you and Kier know about this.
But did anybody else figure this ?

I figured it out It's fun clicking around the forum trying to figure stuff out. Not everything has to be "right up in yo face".yeah, you and Kier know about this.

I do believe you found the Mark Thread as Read button.I figured it out. The logic is to click the date to go to that date. This logic also works with the last post in the thread.
I do believe you found the Mark Thread as Read button.
I am still testing.
Unless you have more than one page of unread posts. Going to the last page shouldn't mark the next-to-last page as read, so the entire thread is therefore still considered unread.Interesting. I didn't think of it as marking the thread as read. But it does. And it makes sense that it would when you hit the last message.
Not sure. I will need more time for posts to build up, but I believe the thread marking system is slightly different than vb.Unless you have more than one page of unread posts. Going to the last page shouldn't mark the next-to-last page as read, so the entire thread is therefore still considered unread.
Not for me.I actually like the way it is implemented. It saves time, overall.
