It should be displayed somewhere on the homepage IMHO.
Once we're ready to go live we'll publish a link on the home page.

Sanctuary is not a place specifically for conspiracy theories. There is a small sub-forum for them, but there is also a sub-forum for books, music, gaming, traveling, and quite literally every other subject. We are not in the business of close-minded thinking. Quite the opposite. We are in the business of teaching critical thinking.@Arnox yours is not a forum for free speech but a forum for people who see conspiracies about everything
Your forum has few members, few contents and the default theme with a black background so it is certainly not an interesting forum to appear in the xenforo showcase but since you are a conspiracy theorist, you say that you are not being published because xenforo is against freedom of speech
Thank you.I am picking this up and will be going through the submissions prior to pushing it live.
if you have already submitted, ensure you update it to reflect the current status of the site.
Note that not all sites will be published - we are aiming to get a good mix of sites.
Mine was approved as well. Where is the actual showcase though where we can view sites submitted to it? It should be displayed somewhere on the homepage IMHO.
It's here: https://xenforo.com/customers/showcase/
Once we're ready to go live we'll publish a link on the home page.
Some favouritism going on here. I am 100% certain that I submitted my site way before "ragezone" who only just converted their site from VB to XF on Apr 19, 2023. But hey. It's here: https://xenforo.com/customers/showcase/

Remember, this is a showcase, not a directory, so not all sites are going to make the cut.
My own site for example won't be published because it uses the default style and doesn't have a lot of activity.

Once that is done, we will choose a selection of sites from each category which best show off XF.

I have submitted my site probably last year, still haven't been approved. .
Your site has been approved just not published.
Refer to the post above.
But I can't see it yet.
It hasn't been published ...
Not sure how much clearer I can make it
It would make it clearer without having to keep posting the same thing to people if you changed the email from saying the following:It hasn't been published ...

If you believe that then nothing I say is going to make any difference.Because that's not true, is it? It's being handpicked by a moderator. Let's face it, it's biased too.
And? Exactly WHY would you not expect them to showcase a site that shows their product off in the best light in THEIR opinion. It's not a popularity contest (or list) ran on an admin site... it's a SHOWCASE of what XENFORO thinks highlights the best features of their script. Some favouritism going on here. I am 100% certain that I submitted my site way before "ragezone" who only just converted their site from VB to XF on Apr 19, 2023. But hey.
Now, @Brogan, you know better than that. I realize that "nerves" may be a little frayed from the heat that XF has ridden (and that heat goes through all the staff/moderators).... and yes, I was a part of that (as I had a specific reason behind... enough smoke generated, the fire gets addressed).I'm going to duck out of this thread now and will no longer deal with the showcase, as clearly we can't do right for doing wrong.
We are the most well known in the world at what we do and I've done this a long time, 20 years if we want to be specific. I appreciate that we are able to show Xenforo at its potential and rightfully so. Migrating from vBulletin was a huge improvement for myself and my users. In terms of niches, you want to showcase a site that is outside of a regular field, this is logical - in essence, a diverse portfolio. Some favouritism going on here. I am 100% certain that I submitted my site way before "ragezone" who only just converted their site from VB to XF on Apr 19, 2023. But hey.

"JoyFreak has been approved and is now displayed on our showcase."
