sub domains and portal pages

I think it's a no brainer that you can't have multiple forum installs across sub domains of a site, but is it okay to use sub domains as a portal page (making use of xenforo styles)

I was about to do this, but realised xenforo might not allow it.

for instance, a site might use : myforum.com for the forum,
but could use, blog.myforum.com for its blog and portalpage.myforum.com for other pages.

Is it okay to use xenforo styles on the pages (and if I can figure out a way) to also use plug-ins on these pages?

This is from the FAQ:

Can multiple domains or subdomains be used with a single license?
Yes, as long as the domains or subdomains all resolve to the same installation, all of the content is available at every domain or subdomain, and there is no attempt to make them appear as separate installations.
