Sticky thread order [Paid] 2.2.2

No permission to buy ($15.00)
I've adjusted the guest experience so it at least offers the 'buy' button as expected

The initial purchasing experience does have a number of steps, but for business reasons it is hard to reduce them. And most of them only need to be done once;
  • Standard XenForo signup.
  • Link to a valid XenForo licence for validation.
  • On checkout, enter a billing address for tax purposes.
I happen to sell a lot of add-ons.

A reply would bump the thread to the top right, does this add-on retain the order even if there's new reply?

Any idea on how to move a sticky permanent redirect to a hidden node to the position as shown? All other stickys are arranged as needed, it's the three shown I cannot order.
Thanks,

XF doesn't expose any edit thread options for redirects which means this add-on doesn't have UI hooks to use

There is an "edit" link on a thread in the thread list. Clicking it shows the "edit thread" dialog; which includes a manual display order field when this add-on is installed.

It vastly reduces the amount of chargebacks I deal with. This is especially important when chargeback fees frequently hits $15 USD

To prove that you are legal and not nulled.
Licensed customer under my name should be sufficient. I don't like to give my license code or site url to someone I don't know. What you going to do with that info? Bought from several people, never charged back and they never asked for my license number or URL, that is private stuff.

Who the hell charges back $15. Just report em and they get themselves banned here?

Like every other add-on developer; I sell add-ons off-site. I can't actually link to the licensed customer flag on xenforo.com

All my site's registration asks for is the license token and the domain name.

Stripe & paypal both charge fees if you get hit by a chargeback. If the end-user loses the chargeback challenge then that fee is refunded but that is a manual process which is frequently hard to win.

that

That I get, but he is selling an addon on his own site, he doesn't need to know my license code and url, and he can check here if Im licensed or not ;)

The only way I can determine if a user is licensed is with the license token

He does not know your license code - he got a kind of hash of the license to prove/automatically check that the license is valid. Do you really expect add on devs to manually go to the XF forums and check, if a forum user has a "licensed" badge? How silly is that? What about license owners that do now have a forum account?

Regarding the URL: it is quite common that add ons (or any web based software) is licensed to a specific domain/URL - this is not specific to XF, let alone to XON.

The way sales are managed over at Xon's shop are more or less the standard how most devs of XF add ons do it - for good reasons. If you don't like it simply don't buy his add ons (and also not those of most other add on devs). Simple stupid. Given that you are a member on here since 2018 it is somewhat surprising that the whole process seems totally new to you.

Because everything I bought I never had to provide a license or url because I'm buying a third party addon or theme so validating license and url isn't a concern for them. If it was an official add-on/theme by Xenforo I would understand.
