Steam Summer Sale 2013

So far I've bought....

Torchlight II
Spec Ops The Line
Trackmania Canyon
The Witcher 2
Hitman Absolution
Grand Theft Auto IV

Debating on Natural Selection 2 depending on how many of my friends buy it.

Right now the community choice for the next game looks great either way, I'll probably pick it up whichever wins:

Metro Last Light (-40% : $30.00 )
Deus Ex ( -85% : $3.00)
Assassins Creed (-40% : $24.00)

Yet no time to play any of them haha

I've picked up
Ys1
Ys2
Ys Origin

(all suck large.. I blame @Shelley )

Waiting for Shelley's report on Natural Selection before I hit the button on that and was considering Max Payne 3 and will probably get Assassin's Creed 3

I also quite fancy Dishonoured... so if anyone has that, what's it like?

I was looking forward to Dishonored as well, it was on community vote but lost :(

Natural Selection 2 is garbage @Russ I honestly wouldn't waste my time getting it. If you are you might as well grab it whilst it's 66% off. Personally i didn't like the game.

I hate the Steam sale because it leaves me broke, but I'm alright this time around, because I'm already broke :).

The said, my finger did slip and pick up Fallout 3 and New Vegas since they were on pretty good discounts and I've been holding off on picking them up for too long...but then I noticed System Shock 2 was also on sale, and now I'm way too broke to even contemplate picking it up...oh the tragedy :(.

It's a bit like Fable meets Assassin's Creed. It's actually pretty good, though I find the sword a bit flimsy. It's worth a pickup on the cheap, most definitely!

Okay, time to make everybody be ashamed of me.

Games I've bought so far:

Fuel
Tomb Raider
Lost Planet 2
God Mode
The Witcher 2
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
Dead Island
Hitman Absolution
Scribblenauts Unlimited
Sleeping Dogs
Dues Ex Human Revolution
Trapped Dead
The Ship (was a gift to me)

And I'll probably end up buying even more before the sale ends.

So far most of the flash sales and big featured sales have sucked.

Indeed they have.

I'm yet to make a purchase for a game I remotely like.

2x Final Fantasy 7
StarDrive
Display Fusion
The Last Remnant
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion Forbidden Worlds
Mirrors Edge
Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity
Dishonored + DLC
Deus Ex Collection

Waiting on a few things to go on sale as I need to get my brother a copy of them as well as for myself (Final Fantasy 7 for example).

Patience really paid off, as today System Shock 2 went on sale for $2.49 / £ 1.74. Super happy to pick this up, even though it's a 14 year old game. If anyone is looking for a super-cheap, really fun game in the spirit of Bioshock (Bioshock is known as the "spiritual successor" to System Shock), grab it. Just don't expect it to look like a modern game (there are texture mods available through the fan community, which can make it look a bit more modern). Great story, and Shodan is still one of the greatest villains in gaming, IMO.

I'm up too...

Serious Sam 3 BFE
Alan Wake Bundle
Sleeping Dogs DLC Collection
Portal 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Standard Edition
Primal Carnage
Spec Ops The Line (ROW)
Torchlight II
Trackmania Canyon
The Witcher 2
Hitman Absolution
Grand Theft Auto IV

These freaking community choice deals suck

What do you think about The Witcher 2? I'm thinking about picking this one up while it's sooo cheap,

PS. I highly recommend Tomb Raider.

Oh no... I haven't played any of these games yet haha, too busy with styling, it's my reward after this 1.2 mayhem :D

You don't really need to play the first to enjoy Witcher 2. I say get it regardless. It's one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time.
