Staff: Is it XenForo or xenForo?

The logo is xenForo. The favicon is xF.

Everything else, as far as I can tell is XenForo (staff titles, footer trademark, splash page, forum titles, etc.)...Which one is it going to be?

Ultimately we'll need to come down to one official way to capitalize the name, of course...right now I don't think we have it. I threw a poll in here just for fun. Maybe the XF guys haven't decided themselves and a little feedback from the community would help.

I personally prefer xenForo. Looks a little more modern/playful.

Why is it annoying, because when someone tells you there is a serious exploit in XEN and you should 100% update straight away you will be like feck which Xen, hyperviser of foro...

No, because in my eyes XF stand for XenForo and it's just a personal preference.

I also cringe a but when I see people type: phpbb/PHPBB, vb/VB, ipb, etc. I see a name, I see it's been mentioned by staff that it's usually typed a certain way, and I adopt to it, not type it however I feel like it despite knowing what's been said.

Something tells me you knew that URL was registered before you suggested it you sly dog.

I do like Floris' short URL service though. Needs an index page for quick linking though! I also like the idea of him expanding it to any forum with XenForo software.

I expect so, though it's being used for the official site as a URL shortener which IMO is the same as redirecting it to the site.

After two months of being here, I ended up using XenForo naming. It feels like xF doesn't fit the product. I guess xF has a dried-up karma at least for me. I think I got tired of vB like naming.

It was explained before - XenForo ist the official name.
The lowercase x is just more "stylish" for the forums.
