Hi, does anyone know of any solutions for running separate XF installations but with SSO. The idea being that a user could use the same account to sign into multiple XF websites. I know there are 3rd party XF multisite solutions, but we prefer to avoid having to rely on an extensive 3rd party addon that is modifying core functionality of XF, and all we really need is just the SSO part.

Currently there is no solution. But XF2.1 introduced an API while stopping short of adding Oauth. Hopefully the XF team will take the next steps and implement these suggestions:
