how about this idea:
we all know spammers post because of working CLICKABLE URL LINKS
thats where they are paid for (robots and human spammers)
If we can have a setting in XF that if user has less than 10 posts
he cannot use the BB CODES to make the links CLICKABLE.
human spammers tends to post based on the thread topic or category
they just add their keywork url link.
so even if "human spammer" post a copy and paste paragraph and with their
URL LINK, its not clickable.
advantage on our xf site as its additional keyword contents.
disadvantage to spammers as they are not paid for non working link.
in the end, "real good writer human spammers" are our content contributor minus their working links
good for us XF owners
