I don't think embedding YouTube videos would take up much space at all, where as adding your local host videos will eat up HDD space and Bandwidth real fast, never mind add to the server load when it converts the video.

This seems like a viable solution, as I'm becoming pretty annoyed awaiting the release of Chris' gallery that allows user albums. This one has full permissions that cater the same thing for the user, which means they control who views and interacts with their content. Nice job @sonnb

I'm curios if people said the same in the early internetdays (e.g. as phpbb 3.0 introduced attachments):P
 
I deleted the old version and installed the new one:

Video upload will not available in core of XenGallery. It will be an separated addon integrate with XenGallery. It will be act as an option for any administrators who really need video uploading.

Somehow the installation was failed to alter the xf_user table. Please run following query to recreate it.

Code: 
ALTER TABLE  xf_user
                                ADD COLUMN sonnb_xengallery_album_count INT(10) UNSIGNED NULL DEFAULT 0,
                                  ADD COLUMN sonnb_xengallery_photo_count INT(10) UNSIGNED NULL DEFAULT 0,
                                  ADD COLUMN sonnb_xengallery_video_count INT(10) UNSIGNED NULL DEFAULT 0,
                                  ADD COLUMN sonnb_xengallery_cover blob NULL;
 
This on DEFAULT style XenForo. On custom styles situation is very, very bad!
