Sometimes it takes many years until the sluggish brain wants to work again for a short time. Today, while I wait for a good hour for three dozen upgrades to be pushed to the server, I ask myself why I don't download all the files to the server first and then get them home.
But how exactly could I do that? With Lynx? Does that still exist? Does that work with Xenforo? Maybe it's a disaster to want to fetch files from xenforo.com with it, but when I see how many hours (=weeks and months of my life) it takes me over the years for uploads, then perhaps that would be an approach.
Perhaps you also need an add-on that connects to the URLs of the add-on downloads?
Alternatively, I should buy a faster line.
