Not a bug Alert of recent thread start when thread is many years old

This is what I have under alerts




The third entry Interfero started a thread called... .....Today at 8:42am implies that thread was started today at 8:42am.

However when I go to the thread it was started in 2018. This happens when either clicking on the alert thread link or specially on the 8:42 timestamp.





In fact there were not even any replies posted at 8:42am.

Still a bug as alert contained misinformation. The thread was NOT started at 8:42 this morning. Alert should have made it clear it was due to a moved thread.

The timestamp is when the alert was generated, not when the content was posted.

That's not what I mean, what I mean (and what is incorrect info) is that Interfero did not start today, they started it six years ago. People don't expect alerts of threads started 6 years ago.

EDIT: besides what may be technically correct about the timestamp referring to the alert, people always assume the timestamp is re: the post.
