No... just Diet Coke... me and my friends put mentos in Diet Coke many years ago after that famous video to see if it works... it does.

Look at the bottom right corner, it says use diet coke, not regular as it's heavier. Also recommended not to use a generic store brand either.

Allegedly, the diet sodas work better than the sugary sodas, and don't make as much of a mess, due to the sticky high fructose corn syrup.

I did this shortly after the video came out too, multiple times. It's great fun.

You can all dive under it and play chicken to see who lasts the longest before it hits one of y'all

When I worked patrol, a popular thing for the kids to do was something like this. Except they placed it in a mailbox after placing the cap back on the 2 litre bottle. Usually did a pretty good number on the mailbox.
