XF 2.3 Cloudflare Rocket Loader doesn't work with Xenforo 2.3.0

After wasting hours and hours doing several reinstalls and upgrades on several test setups, I finally figured out Cloudflare Rocket Loader doesn't work with XF 2.3.

This is just an informational post for anyone suffering from the same issue I did after upgrading to 2.3.0 and noticing none of the interactive content like post replies, admin panel arrow dropdowns etc works. I unnecessarily spent hours thinking it was something wrong with the database.

Google is so useless, I searched so much for this issue and it didn't even remotely bring any useful info. Maybe I should have tried Bing. RIP Google crap AI BS

It doesn't happen with XF 2.2, just with XF 2.3. It also doesn't break any other platform I'm using on the server (WordPress for example), just XF 2.3 for some reason.

It causes the following:

1. Impossible to rebuild templates/add-ons – It's stuck on "processing"

2. The editor is completely broken

3. Passkeys don't work (cannot log in to a user/admincp)

I haven't noticed anything negative, in fact there has been quite a performance increase but that could be due to upgrading to PHP 8.3 from 7.4 and newest mysql version.

The consensus among the devs in the thread @philmckrackon linked seems to be that it does not really help with Xenforo.

Rocketflare is a terrible idea suitable for terrible websites. Avoid it like the plaugue.

It's the best way to increase load speed for us poor websites on shared hosts tho. Without it my platform loads painfully slow.

Early hints being activated also helps. Rocket loader doesn’t work and should be avoided.
