Hi there, I recently tried out the tools at loader.io and was only able to get 8,500 rp/s on a dual 2620v3. Is this normal? Is it too low? I have opcache and all that fun stuff installed, and am wondering if I can get it faster.

I'm unsure what "RPS" is short for here. Requests per second?

Yes - that's what I see in the loader.io panel. It is able to get to 8,500, then ends itself due to http errors.

If this is hitting a full forum page (without caching), handling 8500 requests per second (successfully) is so insanely high that I can't say I'd trust that number to be at all meaningful or correct.

It is hitting the /index.php I am using opcache. Is the performance I get bad for a php with opcache? If so, could you point me to some optimizations I need to do?

Why do you think you need to change anything?

I just checked a few pages on your forum and they loaded fine.

Okay, someone was telling me that my site was slow. I guess not, thanks for your help. :)

It may be their internet connection that was slow. ;)
