Don't know if I should post on this thread or since it is already declared closed I should reopen a new one.
Thing is the smileys are driving my users mad, it's taking over 7 seconds to load the smileys at first click on a laptop on LAN, an absurd.
Can't identify when exactly in time this started to happen, but it was recently, perhaps with the new version update (v2.1.10 Patch 2).
The damn thing takes 7+ seconds on every page we load, it never gets cached in the browser, it's unbearable.
Can someone from dev team please take a look into this?

Nothing changed in 2.1.10 Patch 2 that would trigger this.
There have been no other reports of this since being fixed so in the first instance I'd post a new thread in the Troubleshooting forum to see if others have an experience consistent with your own.
It's worth also checking on other XF forums (such as this one) to see if it is a reproducible issue or whether it just affects your own forum.
