when submiting in webmaster tools got this error about sitemap HTTP error: 404 Not Found

Has a sitemap been built yet? (You can build one in rebuild caches.)

Try to call www.yourforum.com/sitemap.php in your browser to see if has been created.

The first step is "rebuilding" the sitemap, like @Mike pointed out.
Then check sitemap.php, like @ehd pointed out.

Otherwise, if you have, check your error logs to see what's happening.

No, go to webmaster tools and enter sitemap.php in the Add/Test Sitemap box. Be sure its the full URL to the root of your installation.

Example. http://www.example.com/forum/sitemap.php
