Simple Manga Comic Image viewer

Here is a simple manga viewer I made for my site. You can see it in action HERE

Its nice,simple and light

Unzip and uploaded everything IN the folder Upload to your forum root
Make the folder "books" writable and than install the XML

Adding manga's comics etc...

* Within "books", a folder for each book (eg "books/My_Manga")
* Within that, a folder for each chapter (eg "books/My_Manga/001")
* In that folder, put each page of the chapter

The end result should be

VKmanga - url_comics.zip will give /comics Url

I'm having a problem.

/public_html/books/vampire Juuji Kai/chapter 1a

(my forum is installed on public_html, not on a /forum directory)

I've set the book folder to writable as instructed but I'm still getting this:

Is the HTACCESS file still in the books folder?
The folder must be indexed

Yes it is. What do you mean by indexed? I'm not too technical.

Methink this can be used to display scanned book pages, sort of an image library. How hard would it be to add a download link to a pdf file at the bottom of each page as an option?

One problem with that if you check the demo there is only "one" page its a javascript viewer
This can be used for any images yupyup

Not really.. you would have to link it to the pdf
