Showing New Posts indicator AFTER a person has joined...

Hi,

Is there a way to show the New Posts indicator only after a person has joined.

As an example, a person joins day 1 - Currently, everything is classed as new and has the new indicator. Which is obvious.

What would be nice is that everything is classed as NOT new when that person joins and only posts from that point forward are classed as new.

If anyone knows a way to achieve this please let me know.
