Off-Canvas Menu for Mobile

In this release, we have implemented the off-canvas filter menu for mobile view. If enabled, the forms in all other locations will be hidden on mobile view and a filter icon will be added next to the search icon or replace the default Filters link, clicking which the filter menu will slide in from the left side.

Does this addon have a item name field that searches (and possibly) autocorrects/shows list of valid showcase item names as the user starts typing away?

If it does, possible to add that as a widget that can be placed on sidebars on forum_list for example as a form where the user can search for a showcase item by name and then click search to display the relevant items?

The add-on does not work the way described, as the primary goal for this add-on is filtering the existing lists of showcase items (showcase home page, category lists) by custom fields. What you ask for can be implemented, both as suggestions when typing in the title field in a search form, as well as a separate widget. We will work on it as soon as you purchase a license.

New widget - Showcase quick lookup

In this release, we have implemented a widget, for a quick lookup in the showcase database by item title. The title is suggested based on the user's input. Submitting the form takes to the showcase homepage filtered by the keywords in the title. This usually means the item with that title will be on top of the list, but there may be cases when some other items match the keywords better. The "Keywords" input in the filter form itself will also now auto-suggest based on item titles.

This is not possible, unfortunately. The add-on just enhanced the existing filters on the showcase home page and category pages.

A custom widget showing any list of items doesn't seem to fit the description of the project. Any developer can work on such a widget and if they need our assistance regarding applying sorting/filtering by custom fields they can contact us with their questions. I have this kind of a category system on my Showcase:

Category 1

-------- Sub B
-------- Sub C

--- Sub 3

Category 3


1. If I enable the filter on Sub 1, does it also display items from the children when the filter is used?

2. If I enable the filter on Category 1, does it include all children from Sub 1 to Sub 3 and their children?

3. Can I have different filters for Category 2 and 3?
