Lack of interest Show visual photo-image for .pdf attachments

when we add a .pdf-attachment, then it does not show a visual image for the attachment.

It would be great if there could be a visual image.

You see that each .pdf is shown as a visual photo.

I like the idea but I am not sure how it would be implemented. You would need to be able to use some kind of PDF library to generate the thumbnail images and I don't know how difficult that would be.

Almost all methods require a server to use exec(functions) and imagemagick/GD and ghostscript , that or you can use a service with a public facing api, however both options (unless you know a way outside of this) are really not suited to be part of xenforo itself (it could potentially change the min requirements for xenforo) though either would be well suited for an addon for folks who's servers can actually make use of it.
