XF 1.5 Should XF 1.5 update to jquery 3.3.1?

I'm using the latest 1.5 branch and I'm still using jquery 1.11.0

Why isn't latest XF 1.5 using jquery 3.3.1?

XF 1.5 is still officially compatible with older browsers that are not supported by newer versions of jQuery.

The code was also not written for jQuery 3.x

XF 2.0 uses jQuery 3.2.
XF 2.1 uses jQuery 3.3.

Gotcha, only asked because I used Google Lighthouse on my forum and it said 1.11.0 is a medium security risk. I'll be upgrading to 2.1 when out anyway.

XF 2.1 uses jQuery 3.3.
