XF 1.2 Set prefix-id through url

Is there a way to set the prefix-id through the url? Like with:

create-thread?prefix_id=1

The right prefix-id should then be selected in the form.

I would like to have this, because when someone filters a forum on a certain prefix, and then decides to post a message, the right prefix should already be filled in.

Viewing a forum with prefixed threads can be done like so: http://xenforo.com/community/forums/have-you-seen/?prefix_id=33

Prefixes for new threads can be set per forum, but not based on the prefix being filtered by.
