XF 1.5 Set long inactive Users to inactive

Hi,

is there an easy way to set long inactive Users to inactive so they have to write something or do something to be able to Use all functions in the Forum again?
Or can I move them to a Usergroup which I create?
How would I get them out of that Usergroup?

That's actually a pretty good question, so I dug around in my User Group Promotions think I could use such to perhaps automatically demote an inactive user into an additional user group. However, I couldn't figure how to achieve such either.

Then I searched for such on the board here and turned up this thread, which seems to indicate it's not possible w/o an add-on of some sort. @The Sandman probably offered the best work-around, for the time being.
