XF 2.1 Server Error Occurred - Intermittent Error on Registration

We have installed a fresh version of Xenforo 2 to serve as a platform to test and everything appeared to install correctly and the site navigates well.

However, intermittently the following message will occur on the registration page/when someone tries to register.

How can I troubleshoot this to get to the root cause when the issue is not always present?

There should be related ACP error log entries, which will have details.

What is the server error log? You should be able to see it in the ACP.

Ask your host to install cURL.

Or if it is already installed, ask them to investigate why there are intermittent failures related to it.
