MG 1.1 Server error 500 when rotating an image

When I try to rotate an image in Media Gallery, it gives me Server Error 500, and that's it. Any idea why? thank you

It would likely be either a failure or crash in GD/PHP or your server hitting a memory limit or similar. Generally, your host will be able to advise, based on various server logs, the specific details of the errors.
