I'm sorry but the host isn't the issue. Anyone here with experience in xF will agree it's up to us to fix these issues, not the host.

There are hosting service providers who have basic mechanisms in place for DDOS.

Might want to consider some additional eyes on how you are setting up your server.

3rd parties focused on ddos services will always be superior over hosting companies.
